Feeling Loved

We're in a rental, and the only flowers we have are one bush of some type of lilies that grow by themselves.  Yesterday Mr.1 came up to me with them all in his hand, stalks bent and bruised, and said  "Mama, I picked some flowers for you!"  So I rescued them and put them in a vase and they now have pride of place on my kitchen windowsill. It's the little things that just melt your heart.
